A group of 10 or more people sit in a circle. The starting person is in the first chair and the person on his left is in the last. The object of the game is to get to the first chair. The starting person turns to one of the people next to him and says "zoom" That person has a choice of turning to the next person and saying "zoom" or turning back to the starter and saying "ert" The starter can "ert" back or continue the zoom in the other direction. Whenever a player says "ert" it changes the direction of the zoom. If a player makes a mistake, such as saying zoom back to the person who sent it his way or taking too long to respond, he goes to the last chair and everyone else moves up. The person in the first chair then starts the game going again. The game ends when everyone gets tired of playing.
