  • Designate a specific playing area.
  • One player starts out as the snake.
  • The snake lies on the ground, and all other players touch the snake with one finger.
  • The snake calls out "Snake in the grass!" and everyone tries to get away before the snake tags them.
  • The snake chases everyone by wriggling around on his belly like a snake.
  • Anyone who gets tagged also becomes a snake and joins in chasing the others.
  • The last person tagged becomes the new snake for another round.
