Crazy Ball!

Crazy Ball was invented by Eric for a family home evening activity (or "Activiit" on the video) and we've tried to recreate the rules from watching the video.

We divided into two teams of four. Each team got two minutes each on offense and defense, which comprised one quarter. The offensive team tried to score points using a Nerf basketball and hoop. The hoop was defended by three members of the defensive team (the fourth served as scorekeeper). The defense players were blindfolded, and could also score points by tagging any offensive players who entered the zone around the basket. Tagged players had to leave the zone immediately.

There were a few violations possible - defenders peeking out of their blindfolds or leaving the defensive zone - and three violations earned the other team a free throw.
